flip software package provides convert text file line endings between Unix and DOS formats, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install flip
flip is installed in your system.
Make ensure the flip package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep flip *
You will get with flip package name, version, architecture and description in a table
